Stallions

The stallions listed below are both reference stallions and offspring sires. Please let us know if you would like more information on the breeding of any of our sale horses. We would love to discuss our breeding program with you.

Magnum
MagnumBC[CAN]3660-03Magnum is a 4 year old up and coming stallion by Vulcaan and India, both Dutch Warmbloods with fantastic pedigrees. Magnum is currently in jumper training and will be at the Pacific Canadian Performance Futurity in August competing in Jumper and Dressage. Magnum was 1st in his Jumping class and 3rd in his Dressage class at the futurity. Watch for more from this wonderful stallion as he pursues his career. He has several offspring born in 2007 and all look to be future champions. He has wonderful gaits and a kind personality which he passes on to his offspring.



Orlando

OrlandoDutch Warmblood. A tall, kind horse with fantastic gaits and super personality. Orlando was used as a breeding stallion before starting his career in jumping. He is currently showing in California. Orlando’s grandsire, Jet Set D is the only stallion to score highly in dressage as well as jumping, winning the category jumping in the 95/96 season. Jet Set D was one of the most striking stallions to appear in the dressage ring during the stallion testing. Jet Set D won 4 of the competitions, his highest score being 73%.



Patrick

PatrickThis majestic stallion was one of the last true horses of his breed. The Gelderlander is the foundation of today's Dutch Warmblood. He was the first imported by plane Warmblood stallion to Canada in the 1970's. Patrick was one of the first KWPN approved stallion in North America. In 1999 Patrick was listed in the top 10 stallions list published by the USDF. Patrick himself competed successfully as a dressage horse, and in the preliminary Jumper division, even going to Spruce Meadows. Patrick proved himself as an extremely versatile stallion, producing champion offspring in all competitive divisions. Patrick was known for his presence, athleticism and amazing, kind, intelligent nature. Patrick's offspring are said to demonstrate all these wonderful traits and more.


Lynx
LynxImported Holstein. 17.2. His children show a lot of character and personality but are kind and willing. They are athletic, jump very well and show three excellent gaits. Vulcaan
VulcaanVulcaan comes from the old foundation Dutch bloodlines that are found in some of the best competition horses today. At the recent Olympic games in Australia there were an amazing 9 horses sharing his bloodlines. Vulcaan passes on good movement, temperament, size and substance to his offspring. This stallion crosses extremely well with the Thoroughbred mare to produce a modern sport horse type. Vulcan's offspring have been champions in many fields including hunters, jumpers, dressage and eventing. His youngsters have also been champions on the line. Vulcaan’s dam, Zabella has been awarded the CWHBA Production Premium Award.

Cassandro
Imported Holstein stallion standing 17.1hh. He was a hunter and dressage type. He was a beautiful mover and jumper and passed these qualities on to his offspring. He has been to the Pan American games and was recently in training in Dressage in California with Doug Puterbaugh who was training for his international judging card.


Avenir

Dutch Warmblood. Avenir's long jumping career includes championships at high preliminary, Adult Amateur, Hunter and Amateur Adult divisions. He competed at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles in the Modern Pentathlon. Avenir consistently passed on his extraordinary movement and jumping ability. Avenir’s dam, Zabella has been awarded the CWHBA Production Premium Award.

HighLight

[HL]10156 vb 89 Dutch warmblood BC-Appr-38-89. Highlight was shown successfully by Hap Hansen both at Spruce Meadows and in Indio, California. A beautiful dark brown stallion, this handy horse loves to jump and his offspring have shown talent as jumpers, hunters and dressage horses. Highlight is by Argus, the famous show jumping and dressage stallion. Argus is one of the few stallions who was successful in both disciplines at the same time. You will find Argus bloodlines in many famous horses today here in North America and in Europe where he was exported back to for breeding.

V'Tropez's dam, Nascency xx, is by Good Twist who is the sire of the legendary Gem Twist considered as one of the best show jumping horses in the history of the sport.  Nascency herself competed in the Grand Prix's with Hap Hansen. Galoubet A

Galoubet AThis influential stallion has his bloodlines all over the world. Galoubet A’s sire was Almé, one of the all time great jumping stallions. This stallion competed successfully in many of the world class show jumping events. Following a brilliant performance at the World Championships in Dublin in 1982 - where he was part of the gold medal winning team and just missed the four horse jump-off - Galoubet’s owner, Jean-François Galoubet was one of the first horses in France - and the world - to make use of the new technique of AI. Galoubet has not only been a very good sire in his own right, but also appears to be a sire of sires, aside from Baloubet and Quick Star, he has also proven a good sire of broodmares.

Galouet

GalouetGalouet is by V.Tropez(Selle Fran) and out of a well bred Dutch mare – Lucretia(catalog#11). His breeding is well known around the world with Galoubet A, Alme and Good Twist on his sire’s side and Rossini on his Dam’s side. Galouet is currently being used as a breeding stallion and his first foals all have the most beautiful heads, are free moving and very personable. Galouet himself is very personable and has great bone, nice movement and a very sensible attitude. There is one Galouet foal offered in this sale - #50, Cody, out of a TB mare.

Cotopaxi  

(stamm 776 - same as Ramiro Z)
Born in 1997, an imported Holsteiner Verband approved stallion by Carbano (stamm 1298 - same as Lord). Carbano is by the double Olympic stallion Carthago Z (by Capitol I). Carbano's dam Borgia is out of Fiance who is a full sister to Lord.  Cotopaxi is approved for breeding by the Holsteiner Verband, the American Holsteiner Horse Association, the ISR/Oldenburg North America, the American Warmblood Registry and the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association. Repeatedly foals are achieving the highest premium scores at their inspections.

Born in 1995, from Cantus out of Lacapo Imported from Germany.

Raffaello

Hanoverian In his 100 day test, Raffaello scored 9's for his temperament, willingness to work, ability to work, character and jumping, placing him 4th out of 37 stallions in the jumping component of his test. The judges at his 100 day test in Germany stated "He is very careful and has tremendous scope over fences. He is also a nice type and very good mover". Raffaello embodies a simple goodness and kindness, a gentle curiosity and respect.
