Auction - Rules & Regulations

• The horses will sell “where is, as is”
• You must pre register at www.teamauctionsales.com as a bidder or as an observer. You must be pre approved for internet bidding by www.vandongensporthorsesales.com by September 15th 2008.
  
• All registered bidders must remit a $500.00 deposit prior to the auction.
  
• Funds accepted in both Canadian and U.S funds for all transactions in regards to this sale.
  
• All known faults, if any, will be pointed out before the auction. This sale has many young, unstarted horses and the faults will be rare. This is not an auction where unwanted horses are being sold; it’s an opportunity to buy well bred prospects, show horses and breeding stock.
  
• Ages on horses without registration papers are approximate.
  
• Broodmares confirmed in foal will be so noted in the catalog or notice will be issued the day of the sale.
  
• The horse shall sell to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized the last bid. The recognized buyer must immediately pay for the horse through their method of payment. GST(tax) will be added to all horses sold.
  
• Terms of sale are cash, credit card, money order, certified cheque or payment through PalPal, personal cheque with bank letter.
  
• The auctioneer will decline any bid made by person/s, who, in the auctioneer’s judgment are not responsible bidders.
  
• The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will settle dispute or the horse will be put back up for further bids.
  
• Any horses bought and crossing the border will have their Health Report and Coggins test performed and paid for by John Vandongen Sporthorse Sales. New owners will not be required to pay for this service
  
• Buyers assume all expenses and risk at time of sale. Horses will not be released until payment has been made in full. For pick up of horse/s after the sale, arrange at www.vandongensporthorsesales.com or 604-596-7072, 604-270-9293
  
• All registration papers will be withheld until payment clears.
  
• Boarding will be available after the sale for up to 2 months at $200.00 per month.
  
• A list of trailering companies will be available from jmsporthorse@msn.com
  
• Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in this catalog. Any mistakes are unintentional and any discrepancies will be pointed out the day of sale. The sales management will not assume or accept any responsibility for errors or omissions.
