Auction - How to Bid
- First, you must pre register.
- You must remit a $500.00 deposit (SEE FAQ PAGE FOR INSTRUCTIONS)
Once registered, you can view all the horses offered for sale through
Internet bidding.
- It is estimated to take approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours to sell all the horses offered. Each horse will have approximately 2-4 minutes of bidding time allocated.
- Remember, bidding goes fast so be ready to act. As it is all computerized, you will have to closely follow the horse you are bidding on. Do not leave your bid to the last 5 seconds as the timer can run out on you if you leave it too long.
Just like at a “live” auction, each horse will be presented for sale by its number. The horse offered will be shown while its video and pictures etc are running. As the horse is offered for sale, the bidding increments will be in dollar amounts like $100.00 per bid, or perhaps 50.00 or 200.00. That is how the price will go up depending on the bidding action. You will be able to watch as the increments go up.
- If you are not sure about how to bid, try to talk to an experienced auction person who can explain it more thoroughly for you. Or, please contact us so we may help you further understand the process.
