Introduction and History

Hello, and thank you for coming to view and buy at my exciting new venture in selling horses through the Internet. I have been looking for a way to showcase my horses more than just locally and I think you will be pleased with the horses and ponies offered. We have horses for sale for every discipline. Many of the horses are young and unspoiled, some are ready for the trainer to start and some are great investments for the future. They have grown up very naturally in pastures. Several are well schooled and showing successfully both locally and at Spruce Meadows and Thunderbird, just to name a few venues they are going to.

With this Internet sale, I am trying something new in the Sporthorse and Warmblood horse business. And I always like trying something new. I also need to “slow” down and start to enjoy my senior years. With too many horses and not enough time, I decided to offer the horses to a broader range of clients through the Internet.

I have been in the horse business here in Canada for over 50 years now and have been with horses all my life. My journey with horses has taken me many places, and I’ve learned a lot– I’ve learned many positive and many negative things along the way and I’ve made my mistakes and learned from them. Many of my horses have sold all over North America and excel in the disciplines they are chosen for. Many have been showed very successfully by their owners and/or their well known trainers/riders.

My imported Holstein Stallion, Cassandro competed at the PanAm games in Dressage with Esther Mortimer and until recently was ridden by Doug Puterbaugh who was preparing for his Grand Prix judging card. Many of my horses have been sold and shown successfully.

Many of the broodmares will be in foal at the time of the sale and several are already confirmed in foal by my Veterinarian.

If you go into most of the bigger stables and many of the smaller ones in our area, you will find my horses that I have sold there.

The horses will sell “where is, as is” While I cannot do as I usually do and guarantee every horse, I can say that I have never been sued for selling an unsound horse and have had few horses returned to me due to unsoundness. I never vet a horse before I purchase them – I use my experience to assess a horse and buy with my knowledge. We will identify faults, if any, on each horse. You can buy with confidence that you are getting what has been written and shown about the horse.

We will be having an Open House/Presentation day – dates to be announced in the new year. The horses will be available for viewing. This will allow everyone who can to preview the horses prior to the Internet Sale. Remember, the Internet sale will run for approximately 2½ to 3 hours. You will need to pre register at teamauctionsales.com. Please register early so you are kept informed of all the horses that will be presented for sale.
